Office of the General Counsel

The Office of the Archdiocesan General Counsel serves as the bridge between the mission of the Archdiocese to serve the People of God and the civil law reality within which the Church exists. Following the example of St. Thomas More, we strive to ensure adherence to civil law, while remaining mindful of our ultimate obedience to the Word of God. Our goal is to approach all challenges, tempered with Christian charity, fortified with the desire to protect and serve the Church to the best of our ability.
