Chesterton Academy of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati invites the community to its Open House and Frassati Olympics Double Header at Aquinas Hall (340 NE Clackamas St, Portland), across the street from Holy Rosary Church. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the headmaster and teachers, hear from students and parent ambassadors, and enjoy an evening of house games, friendly competition, and door prizes.

OSU Newman’s 2026 Winter Term Lecture will be presented by Jim Bertrand. Jim Bertrand taught high school science for 39 years and has a Master’s Degree in Education. He is an affiliate of the Turin Shroud Center headed by Dr. John Jackson in Colorado Springs. Bertrand has been invited to give this presentation across 47 dioceses and 29 states in the past 10 years. His mission is to provide factual information on the Shroud of Turin. We are honored to have Jim Bertrand as our Winter term lecturer. The OSU Newman Lecture Series is free of cost with no registration required and open to all. Join us!

Archbishop Sample and 150 priests of the Archdiocese will concelebrate the annual Chrism Mass, during which the priests renew their priestly promises and are strengthened in their communion with their bishop and in their mission to serve the Church.
