Canonical Services

The Department of Canonical Services provides coordinated management of the Metropolitan Tribunal, the Chancellor's Office, and the Office of Ministerial Standards. Each of these offices serves the mission of the Archdiocese by applying the best practices and principles of the Church's legal system, canon law, to their respective areas.

In addition, the Department provides canonical advice to the Archbishop, his leadership team, clergy, and religious.

The Department directs the Saint Raymond Fellowship for Canonical Education, an educational initiative dedicated to training lay leaders for service in the Church as canon lawyers.
