The Property and Risk Management Office serves as a resource for parishes, schools and other Archdiocesan locations in all aspects of property and risk management at the local level. This includes management of properties belonging to the Archdiocese of Portland and provide support to parishes in matters concerning their real property including:
- Sale/purchase/lease/rental transactions
- Construction/maintenance
- Property tax matters
- Environmental Compliance
- Easement and right of way dedications
This also includes administration of the Archdiocesan Insurance Program, and work with parishes on various risk management issues including:- Claims involving auto, liability, property, workers’ compensation and other insurance
- Risk management and loss control programs
- Compliance with governmental health, safety, and other regulations
- Risk management policies and procedures
